Calendar Challenge Week 4

This week's challenge on the Craft Barn blog is to doodle on our calendar page. I have coveted this diamond mosaic Stampers Anonymous stamp for a long time. When Tim Holtz announced it was being re-released as an unmounted stamp in a classics set I had to buy it. Using my stamp positioner I stamped it several times over some pearlescent lime green card with Versafine olympia green. I doodled over some parts of the pattern with a red pen and edged the page with Versafine spanish moss. The red zig-zags were cut with a Die-namics chevron stripes die.

  1. WOW you're fast. Green is perfect for April. I really like how your red doodling is catch up of the red ricrac.

  2. Beautiful ! Gorgeous diamond stamp - can't remember ever seeing it before. Anyway - you used it in a great way. Your doodling looks as if it was a christmas paper perfectly combined with the background color... stunning! ( and by the way - we live 10km west of the capital. Nothing is far away in a small country like this, but Mondorf is one of the farthest villages for us... lovely place though. I've got 10 min to IKEA in Belgium and 10 min to town - not bad either, hugh...;))
