Lockdown Cards

I've been trying to keep busy with a variety of things during these strange times. I've been reading, gardening, watching plays and musicals online and also getting back into card-making. My purpose is to make a selection of simple cards for my local Hospice to sell at their annual fair (whenever it is held). I'm hoping to use old, well-loved and well-used stamps that I haven't used in ages, dies and maybe to revisit some techniques that I used to enjoy.
The background for this card was made by wiping the residue of ink off a stencil with a baby wipe. I will show the card I first used the stencil for in a later post. The diecut is a Sizzix die - a bit fiddly to cut but worth it I think. The friend definition is from an old Paula Pascual stamp set called Punchable Labels.

Monthly Challenge - April

This month's letter for the monthly challenge is:

B for Bird

The colour options are Brown, Blue and Burgundy.
My background started with a mop-up scrap of card to which I added a stencil, a text stamp by Crafty Individuals and an unknown stamp of some bubble-type circles. The flamingo is an Intricut die cut from pink glitter card and the 'water' is a Tim Holtz scribble die. The birds are a Joy Crafts die and the sentiment is from a Crafter's Companion set.
I hope everyone is keeping well at this time.
