My inky travels along life's rocky road

Serendipity!

Sometimes things are just meant to be. I have loved this stamp for ages and always associate it with a special crafting friend of mine. This morning I was in town doing my various chores when I popped into the British Heart Foundation charity shop. They had a £1.99 rummage box of rubber stamps and right at the top was this Judikins stamp called Dance of the Butterflies. I am so thrilled to be the owner of this stamp, who would have thought a bit of wood and rubber could create such happiness? I've just been having a little play with it. This image was stamped with Adirondack wild plum and is the 3rd generation image (spritzing with water in between). The background is vaguely inspired by an article by Paula Whittaker in Craft Stamper (Feb 2013). I used Impress lemon yellow with a brayer to lay some colour on the card. The roughly stamped Papermania cogs in the BG are 2nd generation stamped with wild plum. A strip of CI printed paper and a stamped sentiment complete the card.
