Dictionary Challenge - O
This fortnight's letter for the Dictionary Challenge on the Craft Barn blog is O. I had a lot of options for this week but the problem (obviously) was narrowing it down to just one. I finally opted for Ornate but with an Oriental twist and used some tiny strips of my precious washi paper. Some gold embossing and gems completed the page.
Stamps: Non Sequitur, Clearly Besotted, Simple Expressions.
Inks: Distress ripe persimmon, picked raspberry, peacock feathers, Archival teal.

This is definitely ornate. Those cranes are fantastic and the washi paper sets the rest of the page off nicely. Your composition is beautiful and you stamp incredibly well.
ReplyDeleteLovely colour combinations and certainly ornate. You've combined ornate and oriental beautifully, worth splashing out the wash tape xx
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the washi tape! Love this oriental stamp too, beautiful page!
ReplyDeleteLove the paper with all the soft colours. Great ornate combination!
ReplyDeleteLovely page. The washi paper now lives on a beautiful page so you can look at it an enjoy it. Clever to choose two O words for one project.
ReplyDeleteOrnate with an Oriental twist is a fab idea - love it!
