Rebel Stampers ATC Swap - June Theme 2

For my final ATC this month on the theme of numbers I went for 2. I used an old favourite Katzelkraft stamp, maskedit off and added the background with blended Dis and a circle stamp. I added a few flowers with a small peg stamp with Glossy Accent centres and coloured the flowers held by the lady with a marker pen and Wink of Stella. The text was stamped with a rotary stamp .

Rebel Stampers ATC Swap - June Theme

The theme this month for the ATC Swap is to use a number. I decided to go big and went for hundreds and thousands. I had scribbled with some leftover ink from a previous project and decided to use this as my background. The cupcake is from an old Banana Frog stamp set. I added the sprinkles in various colours and also dotted some Glossy Accents over. The text was made with a rotary stamp which lets you build the words you want rather like the old library date stamps.

Rebel Stampers ATC Swap - June Technique

The theme of this month's technique for the ATC swap on the Rebel Stampers forum is 'water-based media'. For my first ATC I decided to use Distress Inks in picked raspberry, mowed lawn  and salty ocean. I wiped the ink pads onto a craft sheet, spritzed them with water and smooshed a piece of card around until I was happy with the effect. I stamped and diecut the glamorous lady (unknown set purchased from ebay) and painted her with Distress Inks. I diecut a stitched circle and then ran it through with a TH mixed media die. The text is from the same set. I punched some flowers from some scraps of leftover painted card and added some contrasting gems.

My second ATC uses a stamp from the same set as above but this time I used Brushos as my water-based media. I used the negative from the stitched circle diecut above and ran it through an embossing folder for some texture. I highlighted the embossed pattern by painting it with watered down gamboge Brusho. Some gems finished off the piece.
